Dr Alexandra Garfield

Dr Alexandra Garfield, BSc (Hons), MPhil, DClinPsy currently works within the Kent Neuropsychology Service, with over 16 years of experience working in the NHS and privately. She has worked in services including neurology, neurosurgery, neuro oncology and neuro rehabilitation services in Nottinghamshire and West London. She has expertise in the assessment and management of people with a wide range of neurological conditions. She has a special interest in the area of multiple sclerosis, stroke and head injuries.  She has significant experience in assessing cognitive difficulties in people whose first language is not English.  In addition to clinical duties, she has been a visiting lecturer at Imperial College and supervisor to clinical psychology trainees from Salomons Course, University College London and Royal Holloway University.
